As in years past, GracePointe will have a booth in Public Square Parkwhile the festivities take place. This year, we are booth 10 (orange circle) in the lower right-hand corner between Gates 1 and 2 near the food trucks.
For the booth, we need 4 people per 2-hour shift on Saturday (10AM-9PM) and Sunday (12PM-6PM), and there are still a bunch of slots open! We’ll be handing out GracePointe buttons, postcards, and hugs! Participating in the Festival will require the purchase of a pass. If you have any questions, contact Nathanial Green!
GracePointe is participating with Free Mom Hugs in Nashville’s first-ever Pride Parade! We’re so excited to march down Broadway together in the heart of the city. We’ll be wearing our GracePointe shirts (if you have one) and a Free Mom Hugs’ pin as we represent the we work we do as inclusive spaces. We’ve put together a sign-up with more details about when to show up, where to show up, and what to bring! Be sure to purchase your Pride pass before the weekend!
The organizers have asked those marching in the Parade to begin lining up at 8AM on Saturday morning. As you can see in the image above, we are lining up at stall 40 on Broadway between 10th and 9th Avenue S. This is the Broadway side of the Frist Art Museum.
All are welcome to march, and be sure to wear your GracePointe Pride clothes! Lisa and/or Nathanial will be present to distribute Free Mom Hugs buttons as we walk with them and represent both GracePointe and the Free Mom Hugs Tennessee chapter. You can sign up here!
