VERY INTENTIONAL PARTNERING
GracePointe Church is committed to reaching kids for Christ and discipling them to know and love God. However, understanding that the primary spiritual influencers of children are their parents, it is our desire to strategically partner with parents in their efforts to raise their children in the Christian Faith. Because this is such a serious responsibility, we believe that the church community must be intentional in its efforts.
VIP's are those who are saying "YES! We want to partner with GracePointe Church and work together to make sure the critical years of our children's spiritual formation are the best possible! Count me in!
This partnership enables our Classroom Managers to bring God's Word to life for our students, while providing a safe and healthy environment. We will place you on a team with other VIP's and ask that you be faithful in this commitment. Please check the schedule every month to see when you are scheduled to serve in this critical ministry. On your Sunday, please report to the Kid Zone Welcome Center at 9:55 a.m.to receive your nametag and instructions. If an emergency arises and you are unable to fulfill your commitment, please check with one of your team members and switch dates. Please contact Lisa Landon at Lisa@gracepointe.net to let her know who will be filling in for you.
Everyone is encouraged to serve. You will definitely be blessed each week as you mentor and guide our precious children through their journey of life.

Each week we schedule six to eight VIP's to partner with our Student
Ministries team and provide critical child care for approximately 100
children.

- When I volunteer, what can I expect?
You will be asked to do things like:
Pass out crayons, paper, or snacks.
Help children who may need a little extra help.
Try to keep children involved with the class.
Play with children, rock babies, basic child care.
Help children wash their hands.

Definitely! We would love to talk with you about your talent and figure out the best place for you to
minister.
- How often will I be asked to serve?

- How can I help?
You can help by signing up today. Contact Terri Jackson, Director of Children’s Ministries, at terri@gracepointe.net. We really need everyone’s participation to make this partnership work effectively. After signing up, we will put you on our schedule and Lisa Landon will contact you to notify you of your scheduled dates.
- What happens if I am scheduled and I don’t show up?
When partners do not show up, we are not able to provide the needed learning environment for
our children. We then have to ask others to provide emergency child care. PLEASE respond to
Lisa Landon when she contacts you with the schedule.
- What if I lose my schedule?
You can now find the schedule on the Kid Zone pages of the church website. gracepointe.net/kids
I look forward to hearing from you soon! With everyone’s help, we can provide the critical child care that is needed each week at GracePointe. We believe that each child is a precious gift of God and is created in a wonderfully unique way. We want to show God’s love to the children each week as they come into the church’s care. You as an individual and as a family unit are so valuable! Please share one Sunday every six weeks with our staff and the wonderful children that are part of the GracePointe family.
