Summer Events Scheduled
The summer of 2008 is going to be busy and exciting! We have scheduled several events and other activities for the entire family to enjoy! Check out our calendar for all of the dates.
VIP's provide outstanding ministry
I would like to give a special thanks to all of our wonderful parents and VIP's for their hard work on Sunday mornings!
Each week six to eight of our partners join our staff and minister to approximately 100 children. Their willingness to serve on our team provides needed support for our teachers. This partnership enables our staff to bring God’s Word to life for our students!
VIP's are also encouraged to join us for Set-Up on Saturdays. Please use the VIP link to get more detailed information or visit the Student Ministries Registration Table this week for a list of opportunities for ministry.
Lisa Landon is the person to contact regarding our Rotation Schedule. She will assist you with your schedule and provide you with the necessary information. You can email her at lisa@gracepointe.net.
Security for Students
One of the most important things we do for our students participating in GracePointe’s Children’s Ministries is to allow them to worship in a safe and loving environment. To boost our security, we issue every child a numbered nametag to fill out each week, that has a parent security tag attached.
Before releasing a child from the classroom, the adult must present the correct security tag. While we know many of the parents, we still require that the tag be presented. At dismissal time we also request that all parents remain outside the classroom door so that we can ensure the safety of all of the children in the class.
We urge all parents to keep their children with them before and after service. We certainly do not want anything to happen to these precious gifts from God!
Also, if your child needs you during the service, we will flash your security number on the screen in the worship service.
Ah-Choo! Need to invest in the tissue stock?
With all the colds and sneezing going around, sometimes we all feel like we should invest in the tissue industry!
At GracePointe we try hard to keep our toys and children's areas as clean as possible. Tables and toys are cleaned with bleach wipes and/or sprayed with Lysol every week to ensure that our children are not exposed to any unnecessary germs. We need your help in continuing this process. If your child has a runny nose with colored discharge, pink eye, a frequent cough or a fever, please do not bring them to their class. We urge you to keep them at home or take them into the adult service with you. We are also making hand sanitizer available to you and your children to use after the service. Fellowship is a wonderful part of our church community, but we don’t want to take the germs home with us.
We love all of our children and want them to stay as healthy as possible.
