What to Expect
When you arrive at GracePointe you'll find friendly greeters at each entrance who will give you a bulletin that includes the week's announcements and the order of worship for the day's service. These folks will answer any questions you have and direct you to the Worship Service and Children's Ministry activities. For a more detailed explanation of the announcements, you can stop by the Information Table for materials about our many ministries and upcoming events.
You'll notice there is no dress code! Come as you are, whether in jeans and sneakers or suit and tie - it's your call. When you arrive, you're welcome to complimentary coffee.
Our nursery is available throughout the Worship Service.
Our services begin with great music, blending multiple styles, followed by a time of shared prayer requests and prayer.
We often have special music and/or a multimedia presentation that further explores the theme of the day. Communion, the centerpiece of our corporate worship, is served monthly and is open to all.
One thing you might notice is that we don't pass an offering basket. We want you to feel welcome as our guest, with no pressure to give. Our regular attendees will place their contributions in the offering boxes that are located near the gymnasium doors.
Services typically last an hour and twenty minutes. After the services you'll notice a lot of hugs, handshakes and conversation along with volunteers tearing down and loading up our equipment and chairs. Before you leave, please do us the favor of letting us know that you were here. In our bulletin there is a visitor's card that is simple to fill out. Just drop it off at the Media Table and you will be given a complimentary CD of one of our services.
We really do hope our church is right for you. It would be our privilege to join with you in this journey of life.
